I had been planning my girls birthday party for two months. We finally had the party on Saturday. Let me just start off my saying, I'm so glad it's over. Now I can focus on school and get my work in on time.
It was an amazing party. The reason why we starting so early is because we had two parts to the party. We had a party at a place called, "The Rain Forest Cafe" with our close friends and family, and then a BBQ at home with more family and some of their friends. It was hectic Friday night trying to get everything ready. Saturday I was in bed by 1am and up by 5:45 am. I was exhausted but I had some final touches to take care of that included picking up the rental chairs, balloons, and cake. Then there was the whole process of picking up family at the train station. All of our family members live in NY and NJ while we're living in CT. Most of them have no cars. Finally, after getting all my babies dressed and hair done, I had to run after my hubby to make sure he had everything he needed (God forbid I don't help lol). By the time I was ready, we were about 15 minutes late. The host at the restaurant was really nice about it. She completely understood because she also has 4 kids (little did she know it wasn't them at all lol).
After a fantastic lunch of Salmon, summer veggies and an amazing Lava Cake (a warm brownie with ice cream), we went back home and got ready for our BBQ. We drank, ate some more and the girls opened up their presents. They walked up to my husband and I and thanked us with lots of hugs and kisses. They were so thrilled with everything we'd done for them. They said it was the best birthday ever! My husband and I were so happy to hear that until we realized......how are we going to top this next year????? Uh oh!!! lol Mike, my hubby, said he quits lol.
So in conclusion, I am already starting to plan for next year so that all this running around to tie loose ends doesn't happen again. lol

Ugh.....
Friday will be the third week I haven't been feeling well. My back has been hurting so much and I've been getting the worst migraines a person can get. Today, the temperature is up to 81 degrees and now my allergies are acting up. I'm falling apart. lol I went to the doctor and she never even checked me. She looked right into her charts and talked to me without lifting her head once. She told me what meds she was going to prescribe me for me, told me it was a viral in fection and then she was gone. The only thing I could say when she left was, "What just happened here?" Now I'm in the process of looking for another doctor.
Now off to more important things. Seminar, last night, was very exciting. I finally know what I'm going to write about. I thought that deciding on a topic for a paper was going to be much harder than that. I liked the fact that for College Comp 1, my professor had a list for us to choose from. When I read that we had to pick our own topic for College Comp 2, I freaked out. I'm glad I went to seminar last night. It really helped choose a topic and I've been interested in all along. Now that that's over, I can finally start my research. I still need to decide on a topic for my A&P 2 paper. Wish me luck! Good luck to all of you that haven't decided on a topic yet, as well! :)

Death to Mafia Wars on Facebook
Ok, so this is my first time blogging. It has a sorta "Dear Diary" to it. I can work with this.
I just finished my Anatomy and Physiology seminar. I have to say I'm not very thrilled with it. I like the fact that the Professor is tough but there's just something about the class that doesn't seem to flow. Should that even be an issue? I mean it's really all about getting the work done but if I'm not comfortable being in class, wouldn't that affect me? The seminar also ends at 11pm, which is a little too late for me being that sometimes I have a hard time sleeping and I have to get up at 5:30 am to make sure my hubby and kids get up for work and school. I'm a stay at home mom so I can easily rest when I get back from taking the kids to school but I'd rather just get started on what needs to be done. Afterwards, if I have time, then I'll rest; maybe even put on a movie. That also depends on how I slept the night before.
How personal can you get with these blogs? I'm actually feeling a little upset right now. I have Facebook, and for all of you that have it know that sometimes it can get addicting. I've already been through the FB addiction so now I just go on, check my messages, talk to my family and sign off. If I'm bored I might go back on at some point. As far as the games, sometimes I'll play and sometimes I won't. Stick with me, I promise to go somewhere with this. :) Here's the thing, my husband is a Facebook/Mafia Wars/Family Feud addict and it's driving me crazy. He works a regular 9 to 5 job but being that his commute is about 6 hours a day, I try to not to say too much about it because it's part of his down time. The bad thing about it is when I need to talk to him, sometimes he'll look at the time and say, "Hold on. I have to do a job in Japan". REALLY??? Is that really necessary?
Last night I told him to watch 30 mintues of a movie I was watching. It was getting late but he was watching TV anyway. Well, he rolled over and said he had to go to bed. A few minutes later, after receiving a phone call from my mother, he took the opportunity to turn his laptop back on. I ask him what he's was doing since he was tired and he said, " I'm checking my bank account". I thought he was going to check our bank statement but when I looked, it was the bank account from Mafia Wars. "God, give me the strength not to pull my hair out"! Laugh now, but this is serious! One day I will go insane and it'll be all FB's fault.
This was pretty fun and I feel a little better! Thanks! :) See you guys next time!
